She also decided that because of the height of her garage, she wanted to use the space above the cabinets. We were able to meet her unique needs with custom cabinets and platform shelving above the cabinets for large, bulky items.
Platform Shelving

Ceiling Mounted Storage
This customer’s garage has the distinct advantage of a stairway leading directly from his garage to his basement, allowing for significant storage possibilities above the stairway. We were able to “stack” platform shelving above the stairway, providing convenient storage capacity. A similar solution with a single shelf can also be used in otherwise unusable space above the overhead garage door.
Wall Mounted Storage
In many garages good use can be made of storage space on the sides and/or back wall, allowing for storage on a shelf with additional items hung below. Similar to platform shelving, the idea is to store things off the floor, allowing homeowners to park their cars in the garage. Storage off the floor also makes it easier to keep the garage clean.
Total Makeover
Some customers want a total makeover of their garage. We can provide all the services needed for a total or partial makeover including electrical, plumbing, heating, insulation, sheetrock, painting and, of course, storage systems.
SOLUTIONS FOR ANY SIZE GARAGE
This customer has a beautiful home on a small lot with a small garage, young children, lots of toys and two SUV-type vehicles. The advantage they have is a high ceiling. We were able to provide storage capacity with platform shelving on each side of the garage, allowing for toy and vehicle storage.
